I'm trying to imagine the moon logic required for the judge's decision. He ruled that the constitutional amendments were invalid because the lawmakers that put them on the ballot- and got approved by the voters- were from gerrymandered districts. Even though federal judges ruled that the elections could go forward with those districts and the results were certified and upheld. Thereby setting the precedent that all laws and actions taken by the state government from 2017 onwards can be struck down as invalid and the state has no legal authority.

Jonah is probably my favorite conservative... he really takes it to both sides.





On one hand, I'm worried Democrats are moving too far left to win. On the other hand, the front runners on the Republican side in 2016 wanted to end the IRS, target civilians with bombs, round up and deport 11 million non-violent people, ban Muslims from entering the country, etc etc. So the argument that unfeasible economic proposals or even identity politics will push the moderates into Trump's arms doesn't sound convincing.

Also democrats are better for the economy. Economy slowing down with conservatives charge. Trump will end up killing Obama's recovery. Taxes have already increased for most people.
