we grow our own sweet corn but for 30$ you could freeze and entire years worth of corn for your family, and at the store that buys like 10 bags instead. most people are just lazy as shit and dont do food prep or preservation. if they had the garden i have 3/4 of it would just go to waste. the average person would have zero idea what to do with 30 lbs of tomatoes, 5 bushels of sweet corn, 3 bushels of apples, or a bushel of green beans. let alone what to do when they all come ripe in the same week such as i had last week. we filled an entire empty chest freezer with the produce and wont have to buy vegetables for most of the year.

Not all that long ago, people believed that being left handed was a sign that that person was possessed by the Devil. I personally know one boomer who was punished by his teacher in the classroom for writing with his left hand. That’s how dumb people are, and it wasn’t that long ago either (1960’s).

Today, the big issue is being gay. You think it is an abomination; many people, even atheists, hate gay people and find them to be abnormal and offensive. So it clearly isn’t because “God says” but mostly because culture. Never mind the FACT that animals can be gay too. I recall seeing a video of two male gorillas in a zoo 69’ing each other. They must be evil gorillas, right? /s
