As long as we teach cops that their #1 priority is to make it home, and not to protect and serve, cops will remain largely useless in crisis situations.



When the Boston marathon got bombed every cop on site ran towards the explosions. City cops do their jobs, rural cops are just donut eaters punching a clock.

it's more leadership police that cause that

there's so many rooms to figure out where he is, they don't want to risk their officers

The latest statement from the police is that the barricaded him in a classroom for 40 minutes while they waited for the border patrol swat team to arrive alongside a teacher with a key to the door. The shooter locked the door to keep the police out and they were too cowardly to breach the door.

it was an off duty border agent that killed him

Does that excuse the police on scene for refusing to enter the classroom? If anything it makes them look worse.
