Of course political leanings dont automatically mean a person will act unethically. But political leanings increase the likelihood of their judgement getting corrupted by personal bias.
I never said that Mueller or Rosenstein did act in a biased or unethical fashion. I just pointed out that there are plausible reasons for them to have acted this way despite being Republicans, implying that your "but they are Republicans, therefore they cant be biased or hostile against Trump" argument is not convincing. Considering the very different factions of the GOP that they belong to, the fact that Mueller and Rosenstein are Republicans like Trump doesnt really prove anything or lend them extra credibility.
I actually agree with your sentiment that inconveniencing the president doesnt make them Democrats. I just strongly disagree with your notion that being from the same party implies impartiality.
Based on that logic, a pro-Trump prosecutor or investigator is just as likely to make biased moves as the anti-Trump person.
I was responding to Bogie's claim that the investigations were run by Democrats.... that's just not accurate. But it's irrelevant, because DOJ employees are expected to act with impartiality and integrity.
