SurveyUSA released a national G.E. poll that had Trump with small leads, with a party I.D. breakdown never seen before in modern political history.

What's the over/under on how many days until a hurr durr (or ten) exclaims that Trump is competitive in the general election now, or better yet is ahead?

He's saying that the poll is totally unrepresentative of the general election turnout but people on the forum are going to ignore that our stay ignorant of it and claim Trump has a chance.

He could win the Republican nomination but has no chance in the general election.

An actual ubermensch is running for President of the United States. This is pretty big

Definitely could win the nomination, definitely would get demolished in November absent a legitimate scandal. You'd usually extend some other qualifiers like a recession or a foreign policy incident, but in this unique case I don't think the out-party would benefit from those with Trump as their candidate because there'd be a strong desire to elect someone who actually understands those issues. Trump's already made it clear that he doesn't.

His primary viability the rest of the way is going to come down to how two questions are answered: 1) Is he going to build an actual infrastructure or not, and 2) Will the media finally treat him like a regular candidate?

He has alienated so many key groups we don't have to worry at this point. It would take something massive to flip him into competitive for the general election

All this liberal bias being slung towards trump only makes people like him. We'll see who gets squashed in November Jay just make sure you've got a tissue box within arms reach so your salty tears don't drip everywhere. Every time I read a liberal article about him his poll numbers magically jump up tis a bit odd wouldn't you say? The only thing that will bring him down is going to be the debates within his own party. I have to hand it to you, there really does have to be some sort of talent or skill involved in order to make a group of people who tend to be clueless as hell appear to be far less oblivious than they did before you stumbled in here. I don't know how you do it but I'm sure glad you find a way.
