There really isn't a point in arguing the age of the earth with someone who thinks it's 5 or 10k years old anyway. They only think that because of the bible, so anything that science tells them is irrelevant.

Thanks, I do want to talk some more about the heaven/hell :) What if you never had any infomation about the bible and the religion itself... so you didnt know anything about Jesus, and therefor you could not accept Jesus's sacrifice. Would you then go to hell?

I see you use the word "choose" but I guess what i'm coming from that it might be a hard for a child who grew up in another religion to suddently choose "Jesus" or if a child was raised without knowing about Jesus. (I guess the logic would be that god then knows that they didnt have the option to choose Jesus and maybe let get a "pass" to Heaven anyways?

Most believe that Children have a free pass because they don't understand the consequences of sin yet. Biblically speaking, their is no other way to get to heaven without Jesus. Now it talks about in the Bible that God's attributes are shown in nature so that men are without excuse. So now I ponder if a man who has never heard about Jesus were to basically understand their is God, that he was not good enough for that said God, and asked that god for forgiveness would he need to say the name of Jesus to be saved, I don't know. I think the Biblical is clear to the calling of Christians that most people aren't going to be saved and that they need to be bold and spread the gospel with haste. Now I will say that if you have read this thread at all then you can't hide behind the excuse of ignorance, but you now get to choose between following Jesus or not.
