The discussion may be but the OP is just reciting verses from the bible. Which is also mentioned in the rules -

The only reason this thread has so many pages is because OP has continually bumped it for nearly a year so he has a place to spam. I'm not against constructive pro-christian/religion threads (though I will voice my anti-religious opinions in them most likely) but this is not one of them. Damn. Was hoping for some legit religion discussion. Seems you can't really have one in the Christian fellowship section.( my 10% warn)

This is the place for political and religious discussion. Often philosophy and science is discussed as well.

I wouldn't go to the Christian Fellowship hoping for an argument, that isn't what that place is for. That is what this place is for :p

Prayer is not required for salvation, however, you can pray to God through faith and ask for salvation.

Ro 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Ro 10:13 For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."
