He's one of the biggest sell outs right now. Milking as much easy content as possible for money.
I thought that at first, but it doesn't make total sense to me. His original audience were mostly from the centre left, why risk alienating some of them to pick up support from libertarians and right leaning individuals?
Churchgirl was a total sellout because she was deliberately putting out misinformation that would seem to be the polar opposite of her posts on this forum in order to cater to right wing populists. However Dave Rubin has been shifting to the right over a protracted period of time and has mentioned in videos that he sees the regressive left as the
single biggest threat to Western democracy.
It's frightening to me that he could possibly come to that conclusion considering how it's such a small minority of people that are militants feminists or attempt to stifle free speech on university campuses. I unsubscribed partly because of that fundamental disagreement and partly because I didn't think the guests he had on were that good.
Out of all the shows from right wing political commentators, the only ones I'm still subscribed to are the Daily Wire and Alex Jones. Daily Wire because Shapiro has some good arguments and Alex Jones for the laughs.
