His VP choice will be monumentally important but anyone that is respected will instantly lose a lot of respect by accepting it and he has very little chance of converting most that he has turned off

I'm still not seeing a path to victory for him other than something drastically changing for the worse on the Clinton side

This person was the vice presedential candidate of the Republican party in 2008.

And people are suprised Donald Trump is the GOP nominee.

This party has been on the downswing for a while now. This sort of chaos and craziness doesm't just appear overnight or in one 'fluke' election cycle.

She gets a lot of shit and her talking is fingernails on a chalkboard to me but she energized the GOP

whether that was for the better or worse is debatable but she probably caused McCain to lose by less than he would have with any other pick
