Things have been rough in the streets of Spain as well. Taxi drivers have been rioting over companies like Uber, Cabify, etc... they want their privileges protected and they are protesting against liberalizing the sector. They've cut streets, beat up policemen and vandalized some places, gilet jaunes style. Thankfully, our police is pretty good at dealing with these king of baboons, and has kept them in check for the most part.
Though the rioters are criticizing the police, of course. They claim that they're constitutional right to strike is being denied (what about every citizens right to work though? they don't seem to care about the people working in small busisness that aren't getting any customers due to the street blockage... feel free to strike by leaving the cities without taxis, but don't ruin everyone else's life, ffs), and they've also claimed instances of police brutality (what about their violent beatings, and why are they protesting with masks and tossable objects?). On Monday they made a huge fuss over a taxi driver being beaten in Madrid... now we have footage of this brutal incident...:
