Modern day slavery as people are abducted, tortured, exploited, and placed into slavery while trying to reach Europe.
Likely already has been discussed in here.

Good article however, a sound example of how the world is a very dark place.

Since Gaddafi was killed there has been a lot of bad shit going in Libya which preceded the mass migration to Europe. I feel sorry for these people as they happened to be born into dirt poverty and are seeking a better life but the bottom line is you can't set a precedent of letting illegal immigrants in. It just encourages more to come.

Yeah, it's just like. What hope do these people have? Nobody is coming for these people.
I can't even fathom what it must feel like to be in a situation like that.

I realize horrible shit like this is going on everywhere throughout the world, just insane.
Forever grateful to be born here.

Vouch. And the thing simply is that making them spend all their family's resources to send one of their sons to europe, making them risk their lives and creating incentives for them to come to Libya in the first place, all of this stuff is only making things worse for those people, no matter how shitty their initial situation is. The European immigration policies are thoroughly immoral and only serve to enrich a small caste of social workers, teachers, landlords and corporation stakeholders at the expense of everyone else, including the vast majority of the immigrants.

we could easily solve that problem

turn off the most powerful magnet in the world, which is the german welfare state and its migration policy
the main problem lies in berlin

true, although I think that the policies currently in place in countries like sweden, norway, netherlands, switzerland, france or austria are still too liberal and would still be strong migrant magnets in their own right. if the even more liberal german rules wouldnt pull all the migrants towards germany, they would continue to try their luck in those places. those countries just get a breather because the german insanity is exceeding them atm.

irrespective from the asylum and immigration rules in europe, it would help a ton if we finally started shipping all the boat people that the rescue ships are picking out of the mediterranean back to the african coast from where they were coming.

Maybe yes, but only because they still think they can obtain the butter, buttery money, and the ass of the creamer.
