Cool. Politicians promise the moon and only partially deliver or sometimes not at all. Trump is no different. Maybe some simple people really thought Trump will bring all the manufacturing jobs back or whatever but literally no human can make that happen.

I like to look at data. There are measurable things like the unemployment rate, stock market, 401k roi, etc that we can measure and say he has delivered on some economic benefits.

Trump won suburbia by a margin of 5%. Suburbia has 401k's and they pay taxes. Them getting higher returns and having to fork less in taxes has absolutely benefited many people who are his base.

I just find it hilarious how the Trump critics hold him to some god-status in his ability to deliver on things he's promised as if he is some god emperor who with a swing of his hand can make things happen.

Uh... of course some people thought that. Remember Obama's "magic wand" comment? It was basically making this point, that reversing globalization and automation isn't actually possible.

Do you think the uneducated voters who Trump loves base their votes on data?

Trump's election was based on a fantasy. It was the last(or second to last) gasp of a population who have been marginalized by the modern economy. The inner cities and rusted out factories haven't been revitalized. So the question is whether Trump can keep the fantasy alive for people who don't see America's renewed greatness in their own lives. The "marginal benefit" argument isn't going to bring voters out.

You have this fallacious assumption in thinking you know who exactly voted for Trump and assuming all of these people are the same and think the same. Some voters are/were ignorant, some are not. Some are poor hicks, some are living in suburbia and are middle class. Some vote out of poor reasons like thinking they can get coal or steel jobs back, some vote for him because their 401k's have gone up.

What he's delivered i would argue is not that much more or less than most presidents., it's you who keeps getting fixated and thinking he can deliver on everything. Idk, maybe you like having these high standards for Trump so when he fails you can justify your hate for him?

People voted for Obama because he promised change, now ask the typical Obama voter on what change he's brought and they'll blankly stare back at you. Trump is not much different and the people that voted him in are pretty similar to the Change Obama crowd. It's how politics work in the US, get over it.

From my family to coworkers to friends, ranging from 25k to 300k incomes, blue to white collar, every single one that voted (perhaps I should edit to say, voted and still supports) for trump sounds exactly the same when they talk about him, his crimes, and adultery, etc. Every single one says low-to-high key racist shit on a fairly frequent basis, every single one of them is super scared of the socialist boogeyman, every single one of them spew fake facts constantly and refuse to admit very obvious truths about the guy, and so on, and so forth. Its cultish behavior at even the most basic glance.

The amount of poorly informed zealots that support and voted for him far outweigh the reasonable people in pretty much any jurisdiction.

- I only know 1 person so far that regrets their vote and thats because hes iranian and quit working with us, luckily still one of my best friends, because he got sick of ppl talking about carpet bombing his family in Iran.

it's funny because he's admitted he lives in a privileged cul-de-sac tucked away in some suburb where his stepdaddy keeps him safe. he's literally a stepford wife character and then attempts to judge 60+ million people as all the same lmao

Welcome to both the south and the average trump supporter. You don't much choose your family or coworkers. My friends are fairly awesome though.

You don't use blackbelt moves to beat a whitebelt, that's just poor taste. Do you need to borrow some money for tissues?
