Did I miss something? Last I checked this section was called: "Political & Religious Debate" and so the whole point of this forum is to argue. Is that not why you are here? Besides the whole dynamic changes when it's all online. You don't know what I'm like in my day to day routine.
We each have our own strengths. Some are really good at speaking while others are better at doing. Some are Missionaries and some teach those closer to home. People respond differently to the same thing. There is no one size fits all.
You quite literally need to read Genesis chapters 6 - 10 as it tells you everything you just asked.
Regarding the space, the animals would have been infants and not fully grown. Don't think of an elephant, think of a calf. Don't think of a giraffe, think of a calf. Don't think of a horse, think of a pony.
[6:15] This is how you are to make it: the length of the ark three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.
1 cubit = 1.5 ft or 0.56m
That's 168m x 28m x 16.8m = 79027m2 The total square footage now take away the thickness of the wood, curvature of the boat take away all the inner floors, walls, stairs, doorways and you end up with with maybe around 50-60k m2. Assuming you are not cramming all the animals like sardines in a can they have some space to move around and go poop etc since you need some common walkways etc
Consider how many species there are on the planet earth animals, birds, insects. You need 2 of every kind
[6:19] And of every living thing, of all flesh, you shall bring two of every kind into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female.
[6:20] Of the birds according to their kinds, and of the animals according to their kinds, of every creeping thing of the ground according to its kind, two of every kind shall come in to you, to keep them alive.
[6:21] Also take with you every kind of food that is eaten, and store it up; and it shall serve as food for you and for them."
Do you know how much food that is to feed the entire species on the planet just think about that for a second. Not only do you have to bring all the animals you have to bring every food available and also food enough to keep the entire species alive for 40 days.
Do you know how much food a single cow eats or an elephant per day?
Also just thinking about the boat had like 3-4? levels so all that head space is wasted.
A replica was built and its not even sea worthy LOL
