the most funny thing in his answer is that he - of course! - blames the elderly who didnt vote the way he wanted, and not the youth which leaned in his preferred direction, but didnt turn out in the same numbers as the elderly.

first, the millenial lefties dont turn out to vote although they could have prevented the Brexit quite easily with sufficient turnout, and then they blame "the old farts" for "stealing our future". :wallbash:

MPs are doing some good work in parliament aimed at preventing a no deal scenario. So much so that the hardcore Brexiteers are even considering supporting a modification of May's deal that sorts out the backstop. I still don't think that will work though.

It's a small step for a Brtish MP to consider a more practical solution but a giant leap for British kind.

Interesting time, glad to not live there tbh, GL ^

From LeMonde;

London tries to exploit the dispute between Brussels and Dublin on the Irish border
For the British, the quarrel between Brussels and Dublin sends back to EU the responsibility for the threat of a return of the borders, which is, in fact, because of Brexit.

Leo Varadkar:

We're not making plans for a hard border between Northern Ireland and Ireland. Our focus is entirely on getting an agreement that ensures that that doesn't happen.

==> they still voted against T.May agreement....

the real question is, why are borders so important all of a sudden?
zero fucks given when millions storm the EU borders, but we need a "hard" border between northern ireland and ireland?

its becoming more ridiculous by the day
