I think its a lot more complicated than that. Best case scenario a coup plays out and a military junta takes over and starts selling pieces to investors. Worse case we have a failed state with nuclear power let off a few big bombs and completely change the world forever. A big enough nuclear exchange will trigger mass extinctions due to famine caused by ash in the sky, reducing world food supply. Another big change map change. Since we more or less caused it by electing a malignant narcissist the US may or may not be on it. If we're going worse case scenario.

I think with more black market trade and capitalism in general dependency on the state in North Korea will reduce and so will their power. When the state is no longer able to feed the military as well as the black market allegiance will falter.

the question no one seems to ask, even if NK nuked us, japan, SK, whatever. Why would the western world shoot back?
