with all those lawsuits around bradley->chelsea manning and the nebulously defined deployability and medical liability presented by transgender troops (something which afaik has never been settled into any concrete guidelines by military/doctors/courts/mattis/etc), any sensible military bean counter would want nothing to do with them. You wouldn't recruit a kid with leukemia, you wouldn't recruit a man who's going to spend months in pre-op then post-op undeployable medical leave followed by undeployable HRT downtime during the initial observation months or more followed by a diagnosis of persistent gender dysphoria that could put them onto the 12 month-get-the-boot list or at a minimum still need continued pills & therapy. And its not like they can just filter out the ones that want to transition since they can't deny a 'necessary' medical operation if they change their mind, and besides, if a tranny wants to join the military right now and get no transgender healthcare- they can. By just not getting their dick sliced open or taking she-pills.

Yes. I even support putting more fencing up. What I don't support is shutting down the government over a 5 billion dollar disagreement on fence funding, after Republicans spent two years not funding the wall. It's insane.

Trump separated himself and his supporters completely in both rhetoric and action. He made it the great trump wall. It's the trump shutdown. Selling it in a dirty divisive way that makes nobody want to work with him because he and his wall are toxic as shit.

So lets say I'm a billionaire. I see Chief Warren get elected in her 2020 Pow-Wow and the democrats gets a supermajority and pass this law, with wealth taxation going to start in April 2021.
Why would I remain a US citizen and be subject to both wealth taxes as long as I'm a citizen and wealth tax escape penalties if I try to run, when I can just move my wealth out of the country before the law comes into effect.
Something they cannot punish me for, because they can't pass ex post facto laws.

So suddenly about 95-100% of people who have $50 million in assets simply leave America and join any other country in the world that has no wealth tax, keeping their assets intact.
No need for fancy tax inversions to northern ireland required. Just keep the assets the fuck out of America entirely.
