If you live in certain parts of CA like LA or SF, you know how bad it is here with issues pertaining to homelessness, drugs, crimes, high taxes and education. We need someone different to actually address these issues. It's not about politics.

What specific policies would you recommend and who specifically do you know that wants to implement them?

Remember policies have to be realistic, enforceable, and constitutional, so throwing out something like "we deport homeless people" isn't going to cut it.

its pretty funny that California is at the same time "basically china/communist/socialist/fascist" and a "leftie loonie paradise filled with homeless that are 100% the result of leftist policies" and lastly a place where u need to commit fraud to keep a leftist governor in office during a recall that was always going to fail.

I agree. The liberals are still capitalists which is why they cater to developers, landlords, and cops. We need actual socialists running the state to fix our problems, which are all a result of wealth accumulation upward and very little investment in supporting the people.

yes.. These developers create most of this homelessness by destroying and building over any sort of affordable living to create millions of sq. feet of 4.30 a sq. foot rent.
=homeless it is LITERALLY capitalism creating the issue.

The gentrification is fucking disgusting. My old neighborhood was halfway bulldozed and these $2 million per condo high rise buildings were erected. The people who used to live there can’t afford to live there anymore so they live in tent cities on the sidewalks in front of the multimillion dollar condos. Los Angeles in general is a monument to the failures of capitalism. It is a perfect case study in how wealth inequality creates social decay.

Number one cause of homelessness is lack of affordable housing. Places with affordable housing have much less homelessness than places with no affordable housing. There is no affordable housing in California, so there is just a fuckton of homeless people there. In Cincinnati our homeless population has skyrocketed as our shitty neighbors have become gentrified because they're physically beautiful spaces with beautiful architecture but the less shitty neighborhoods there are the more homeless people you are going to see panhandling on every damn corner.

Cities with affordable housing have way less homelessness. And it isn't linked to weather, because NYC and Chicago is full of homeless people and high rent with deplorable weather.

You sure the number one cause isn't military service?
