absolutely, if you want an undeniably intelligent and qualified theocracy proponent, she's your gal.
if you don't give a shit about women's rights, about secularism, about living in a hyper-partisan corporate oligarchy, with the highest court in the country packed to serve only a powerful minority in the country, you'd be ecstatic over her nomination. she's a christian conservative's / evangelical's wet dream (apparently in more than just one way, seeing how our creepy grandpas reacted)...

These attacks are so silly. As someone who agrees with ACB but wants Trump to lose, why not focus on her judicial conservatism? That's the belief structure which will influence her vote to overturn Roe. Not her standard Catholic beliefs.

Its gunna be Amy Coney Barrett.

Not only is she the best nominee, she'd win the swimsuit competition too.

I demand that the next justice be a very handsome man in order to bring balance back to the court.

Perhaps this young black AG of Kentucky who's a protege of McConnell and rumored to be held in reserve for the day Clarence Thomas steps down (or dies)? Daniel Cameron is his name iirc.

The conservatives who voted Trump in 2016 in the hope that he would deliver a conservative supreme court have been rewarded. This is the dream scenario.

Tbh, he has delivered more for evangelicals, which were initially very reluctant to support him, than he has for his actual base of working-class populists. The Federalist Society has probably been the most functional and efficient "part" of the Trump administration...

The Federalist society has been laying the groundworks for this for decades, and they had a Senate that was more than willing to rubber stamp candidates through. From Trump's perspective, this was just a trade-off necessary to gain conservative support.

By contrast, no one has really made a concerted attempt to help the working class. Tariffs and trade policy are one small part of that, but Trump left to his own devices was just not going to cut it.

A previous statement of hers about Roe v. Wade isn't as bad as it could be in my lefty SJW mind: "The fundamental element, that the woman has a right to choose abortion, will probably stand. The controversy right now is about funding. It's a question of whether abortions will be publicly or privately funded."

Folks on the right have their eyes on Roe v. Wade with Trump getting so many nominations, so we'll see if this statement withstands both the test of time and ensuing pressure should she be confirmed.

fortunately that election-interfering prussian-soviet wannabe bot known as fender (aka heinrich von goebbels) has zero influence on the Supreme Court nominations or any true American feeling on any nominees
