That isn't evidence of that. You grab something and it moves. You can't grab a gun that isn't pointed at you from point blank range.

It might prove it to be a manslaughter situation rather than murder. Maybe he can convince a jury he was benignly brandishing a weapon at another man. I would be horrified if i seen that in my neighborhood, and my neighborhood is where something like this might happen.

At least there will be an investigation.

I've called for arrest for an obvious crime and a competent investigstion not corrupted by the good old boy network. Originally that was not happening whatsoever. That injustice has come to light and arrests have been made and an investigation and trial will occur, and it is in public enough any corruption will be magnified x10.

Aside from a murder not happening, this is now how it should be going, outcome nonwithstanding.

I don't think I was ever the unreasonable one here. What is inreasonable is no arrest and no investigation when you have a video, murder weapon, a motive, a body, etc, Georgia vigilante justice.

McMichael's were brandishing their fire arms regardless of it it was pointed directly at Arbery. There is a huge difference between open carry and brandishing weapons in public.

Perhaps Arbery felt threatened and chose to defend himself per Georgia's 'stand your ground' state law? Wish I knew more about what happened in the moments before the shooting vid, might explain the fight vs flight behavior from Arbery. It is not unreasonable to think McMichael's were going to kill when they were stopped on the road, brandishing firearms.

Edit: Prosecutor will probably push: there is really no evidence of a crime committed, so the McMichaels were not justified in trying to make a citizens arrest. Therefore, when they intercepted Arbery, they committed a crime Assault. Since that lead to Arbery's death, its felony murder.

McMichaels really f'd up IMO, we'll see how legal system works though...

Ignoring laws is not how the world works. The legal system works with facts not emotions.

You call the victim an alleged burglar while wishing rape on these two alleged criminals. You are just as sick and twisted as the alleged murderers. Maybe even more so since we don't even know what actually happened with them and you are wishing something this heinous to happen.

Goom doesn't understand how laws work. He/She also doesn't understand what self defense means either.
