literally. the. first. fucking. sentence. from. your. link.

house gets power to impeach. senate gets power to remove. trump has been impeached. but not removed.

it doesnt get more simple than this dude.

Does this mean that although he is impeached he won't get removed and can do the same things as before?

Yes, unless the Senate okays the impeachment. If the senate rejects the impeachment, Trump is completely acquitted and Pelosi will look like Scrooge,

they could in theory, i believe, impeach again. but im sure there's something similar to double jeopardy where they cant be impeached again without new charges. and even if not, it would be a disaster in public opinion to try again knowing it will fail again in senate.

similarly the Republicans under Obama issued something like hundreds of bills undoing Obamacare, knowing Obama wouldnt sign any of them into law AND they didnt have the majority to end around the president. but, to their base this was popular. i dont see further impeachment this close to the 2020 election as popular with democrats, knowing that it will fail again.

If the Senate throws out the impeachment, all I'll see is Election Interference from our own government officials.

so, if the House files articles of impeachment and hands the papers off to the Senate will Trump have been "impeached"?

Yes, Trump will have been impeached (charged) with a crime. However, if the Senate rules it bias or unconstitutional, it may as well not have happened.

Trump hasn't been impeached and he's not going to be. It's just a sick fantasy that a bunch of bias butthurt people in control of the house believe.

correct, it would read: "trump has been impeached, but he's not going to be removed............."

I don't consider it an impeachment if it was unconstitutional to begin with was my thought process.
