PR speak.
Lol, like... what did you expect? That Trump tweets "not a lot of substance, things still up in the air, we'll see how it turns out, let's hope for the best"?

Why would the international community keep maximum pressure on a country that's no longer a nuclear threat?

It's just factually inaccurate... and a huge propaganda win for Kim. This line could've been written by North Korea themselves.

this is factually inaccurate. the north koreans dont need tangible US news headlines. they just create fake history whenever they want. If trump was critical they'd have changed what he said for internal propaganda films, or used it for their own purpose. people in north korea don't know pearl harbor happened because it gets in the way of the idea of a US-Japanese imperialistic alliance, wavering and changing alliances are a message better not sent to the populace.

Additionally they weren't a nuclear threat for anyone outside of about Guam before, and logically wouldn't shoot a nuke north or east for any reason. So missile defense systems would likely be able to concentrate on likely targets and stop a nuke, meaning in reality they were never a "nuclear threat" but rather a "nuclear power". a fine but notable distinction. This is the overreach we can expect from trump in the messaging to come, but the idea that it servers NK's purpose when they can and will just lie about our messaging anyways doesn't hold much water. North Koreans didn't wake up today and read twitter, they live in the 1800s.

You don't think Trump saying this helps North Korea on the international stage? They still have nukes, they haven't agreed to any rock solid proposals, and Trump now thinks they are no longer a nuclear threat.

North Korea is a nuclear armed nation hostile to the US and our allies... how in the world are they not a nuclear threat? You could argue that they would never use them, maybe even that they would never proliferate, but if they were a nuclear threat before the summit, they are still a nuclear threat after the summit.

Also, I'm not sure the experts have as much faith in our missile defense systems as you do.

ty for never improving, in a world full of variables your utter lack of substance is a constant.

You pretending to be an intellectual on here is really cute. Just like all the pundits on TV acting like they know what they're talking about.

Fact is, I'm one of the few on here who predicted Trump would win from the beginning. Now I'm predicting he's going to get re-elected. Care to dispute me this time, or have you learned from your mistakes?

Liberals would rather see America fall and WWIII start with NK than have to admit Trump is doing a better job than their precious Obama ever could.

In many ways, I can understand. Liberal men are very threatened by Trump because they're weak soy-boys who can't even bench 135 and are ineffective at getting things done. They feel insecure in the presence of such a strong alpha-male, so they attack him viciously to make themselves feel better.

Liberal women are a whole different story. They've been taught all their lives they should hate people like Trump, yet secretly they wish they were surrounded by men like him and not liberal cucks. They can't help but feel drawn to him, which confuses and angers them since in theory he's the essence of everything they should despise.

Funny story: I slept with a SUPER liberal girl recently. I mean, the type that watches only CNN and thinks the SNL skits on Trump are actually funny. She knew I liked Trump but we didn't really talk about politics much. Morning after, she told me she actually voted for him, but was too afraid to tell anyone. I can only imagine how many other women out there are like her. At the rate we're going, the Democratic party is pretty much doomed and it's all thanks to one man.

lol it must be a really slow day on CNN

Trump being braggadocious was to be expected not sure what the big deal here is. Did he remove all sanctions from NK, did he urge others to do so? So why are you all up in arms about a tweet once again?
