Private versus public. There are different qualifications for firing.

Private the only qualification for firing is "the person above you in the company wants you fired".

Public the qualification is "Somebody wants you fired and can carry the legal process to do so to the end".

It's not politically incorrect to have a history of calling black people apes

it's racist
