"freedom", huh? yeah, that sure sounds great. that's exactly one of those very emotional arguments, one of those great words that worked well for the "leavers" conmen - i'm sure many ppl fell for that. tell me, how exactly did the EU impact your "freedom" on a daily basis? can you show me on this doll where it touched you?

really, you're beginning to sound like one of those brainwashed american rednecks raving about how great their country is because of "freedom" (while the nsa is reading his emails, the patriot act is cutting into his individual rights and personal liberties and his generation is fighting unnecessary and unjustified wars that his corporate owned leaders started for profit reasons)... i really thought you were smarter than that, mate.

also, i've not written you off. after the dust settles you will be just fine i assume, the british economy is rather strong and you'll manage, i'm sure of it. that being said, i'm also sure you will be worse off than you were before but hey, "freedom", right?

Wow. I did nazi that coming!

I initially took WNxIrvine for an American, for exactly this reason.

Brits think their freedom is being threatened because they're getting a lot of immigrants, and they apparently have a ridiculous "free movement" and "housing" system. Rather than fixing this housing system, they're gambling on their economy by just running away from the problem.

Obviously pulling legs since everyone is in meltdown atm.

you will be glad that london will keep the deal to build housing in your area (which had nothing to do with the eu) :P

They already built them. So the odds on that changing was zero to begin with. ;)

a shame, i was really interested to know what made an intelligent young man think this would be a smart choice. but sure, you don't owe me an explanation and hiding behind "trolling" is obviously much easier than a serious discussion...

It's a bit late to start thinking about the decision in a rational way, don't you think?

I think that there is no way of knowing if this decision is successful just 5 hours after it was made.

I personally believe that this will be the catalyst for the changes needed for not just england/uk but for Europe aswell.

It's okay saying change it from the inside, but when Cameron went for his little talk he was told before ever starting it to drop one of the things on it because it wouldn't be given. So it wasn't even DISCUSSED. How can that be changed from the inside, if he can't even talk about it?

I'm not blaming Cameron for this, I am blaming the entire government for becoming so disconnected with the masses.

You only have to take a look at the places that voted out/in.

Ireland in, obviously, Scotland too, obviously.

But pretty much the whole of England bar the big boys voted out. That can't be from mass stupidity, there has to be a belief that this decision can make things better for everyone.

Even Wales shocked the UK and voted out, even though it wasn't by much, it still shocked everyone.

I cannot believe a country actually decided upon national suicide.

The U.K. is finished.

And so wrong you are. The leave vote is certainly not "national suicide" time will demonstrate this accurately.

Please elaborate. You sound like you have some useful input, unlike WNxIrvine so far.

Scotland will leave, Ireland will unify.

A rump England and Wales, irrelevant except as a laughingstock on the world stage.

What a time to be alive.
