I don't remember anything about Milo except for he's useless. I'm fairly certain Trump just wants to be the figure head and not really do the policy thing. He's trying to run the country like he runs his business - he's the overseer that doesn't want to be involved in the day to day. He'll open the door and poke his head in to posture and let people know he's in charge - then leave the actual nitty gritty to his peons. I'm all for that. He should keep things @ a 30,000 foot view. Don't meddle - unless it's with Russia.

I was in the same camp until the Syria pullout and Mattis leaving. seemed like he was letting others steer the ship entirely then BAM out of nowhere that happens. he also likes to undermine his own Sec of State a lot lol, which might not be problematic in all cases but must be frustrating to deal with.

Milo made a wierd transition from gay internet troll expert to neolibertarian alt right MAGA supporter. all for money. when he was giving speeches to old people explaining that 12 year olds screaming "nigger" in an xbox live chat didn't equate to a "new rise of racism" i was with him, even on the Coolidge-esque support of trump i was with him. but then he turned into a meme and his snark level went through the roof. he felt untouchable, and admitted that he was sexually groomed as a teen by an older man. then went on to claim this is a good thing in the gay community, supporting not only pedophilia but also the gaslighting and abuse that teen grooming includes. and from that moment on the Milo bubble was burst, he's never recovered and likely never will. bit sad when we consider he was just expressing his own gaslit abuse mentality that some sick fuck is responsible for.

from what i've read the guy who abused him convinced him that society doesn't accept gays, so rather than being open in school and looking for a partner his own age, he needed a mentor to show him how to have gay sex so his social reputation wouldn't get damaged, and he'd be safe.

seriously some sick fucking stuff and it's no wonder why Milo is gone from the public eye. he's so contentious of a person that even as he was backing away from his claims he couldn't help but be snarky, claiming he was being victimized by the media and connecting it to the struggles of gay men. partially true i suppose, but hardly the time or place. it just sounded like he was claiming that gays should have a cultural immunity to pedophilia at times.

I definitely didn't know that about milo. I remember something about pedophilia but dismissed it.

he accidentally let it slip during a podcast randomly, and the hosts were so ungodly uncomfortable that they let it slide and quickly moved on. time goes by and his star rises in the sky and the waybackmachine goes into overdrive and he was asked to re-address them. the whole story started to come out and before he realize how incredibly off base he was he let out a lot of snarky typical milo defenses for his statements. only to realize in the long run he's a victim who was convinced of a really fucking sick reality by a creepy old pedo, whom he went on to instinctively defend time and again before realize he needed to stop or he's be even less famous than he is now.

when you ride the anti-pc provocateur wave this always happens, the more outlandish your statement get the more fans u get. until u hit that downswing like a roller coaster at 6 flags and it all comes undone. it just doesnt usually happen in such shockingly personal fashion, it's typically an offensive statement that is a bridge too far. not "older gay men should fuck gay teen boys to teach them how to fuck, i did and it was great for everyone involved" (paraphrased ofc)
