Pelosi has done more to further republican policy than just about anyone else, including republicans.

Delicious Irony.

she's superb at maneuvering congress and washington politics, but atrocious as her party's face in the public/standard bearer.

policy such as?

her main focus is "trump hates women" and "no wall, sir"

the women stuff isn't really republican policy related and the wall isn't built.

but i'd agree with an amended statement like "she's done more to harden conservatives to the Democrats than anyone else", since we have to disqualify Obama and HRC who have been largely run underground since 2016 other than a shitty book for each family and a few speeches. if it came out that HRC died and was eaten by her cats while Bill was on a remote fuck island 1 month ago i wouldn't be surprised.

i get what you meant, and think "support for republican policy" would be correct, but we're looking at an administration severely struggling to put policy in place and keep it there. we haven't gotten much republican policy, other than a tax cut. then theres the lawsuits tying him up in court. etc.

we've got a shit load of judges and thank goodness for that. but on deregulation, reducing the deficit, or reducing the financial bubble (all core GOP ideas trump supported as a candidate) it's been underwhelming. Trump pulled out of the Paris accords and we've still met all of our benchmark goals that were in there anyways lmao.

trump likes to remind everyone that the Dems are trying as hard as they can to stop his agenda, and even admits they've been successful, then goes on to call his presidency the best ever that's gotten the most stuff done. the first half is true, the second half is lip service. the dems have him in a constant chokehold for the most part. all except the stuff he can do exclusively with the Senate, like judges.

The judge nomination has been great. I'm not that upset that Trump's policy has been somewhat thwarted ans I don't agree with a good chunk of his plans. Obama was in the same boat with republican stalemates and that's the political world we now live in. It's dangerous in my opinion - we don't have any shred of bipartisan deal making left it seems like. The party in power is severely crippled by the party out of power - then it flips. It leads to executive decision which is usually bad in the long run. The wall is an example - Trump's hand may be forced in a few weeks to declare the border a threat to national security and that doesn't really help anyone. Dems won't compromise because #Resist and Trump won't give up his wall like a dog to a bone. Both parties are in it for optics right now and no one wins except the politicians pandering to their base for reelection.

agreed, the lack of bipartisan issues is really troubling.

i remember when Milo first announced he supported Trump, and said he wanted Trump to be a Calvin Coolidge type POTUS that gets literally nothing done. 3 weeks of his twitter followers exploding later and he was full on MAGA, build the wall, etc Trump supporter. im ok with a coolidge potus tho.
