This election if anything will prove that facts are useless in the face of persuasion that utilizes the subconscious desires of living, breathing human beings.

Noone is stopping you from posting though, feel free to share your wisdom.

No predictions thusfar have been subject to constitutionally mandated checks and balances. So all are irrelevant in that regard. Predicting he will be snagged by checks and balances as soon as they apply (if/when he gets voted as POTUS) given those who are in control of the checks and balances disagree with his aims isn't silly, its based in reality. Trump has succeeded in spite of those who control the checks and balances to stop his big domestic policy moves, predicting they will still feel that way if/when hes voted in is logical.

I see where you're coming from with that, and can agree. He will be stopped from doing everything he promises, naturally. There are definitely things he is capable of delivering on though. As well as things he will attempt to deliver on. I was under the impression that Beo doesn't think he will even try to push forward on his promises.

He will need at least 1 major success to push 4 to 8 years assuming he doesn't have a colossal failure

What will his major success be?

The wall and income tax reform are the easiest ones to accomplish imo. The wall by itself though. Not the mass deportation bullshtick.

A fed audit of any sort would be a success.

I think its a mixure of both, not to speak for Beo but that's how i read it. Some stuff is obviously pandering and he wouldnt actually push for it. Other stuff he's earnest about but can't accomplish given our constitution and the contentious at best Senate he faces upon election. Other stuff he may surprise on and get accomplished against great odds, Obamacare sure fits that description for me, I wouldn't have though it possible in Obama's 8 years much less how quickly it came. The gist of it is the fervent followers who assume he's the messiah bringing wide sweeping change will be let down on a lot of things the assumed he could/would get done if elected.
