Or do you mean that large group of Baby Boomers who have controlled the political system for 50 years and who have built the system to benefit primarily people their age at the expense of people older and younger than them?

Do you think they are going to just wake up and decide to play nice? Take a sociology class and learn that is impossible. You will also see how groups of people never surrender power and fight for it once they get it.

They liked material possessions more than children and failed to produce sustainable levels of population causing an economic need for massive amounts of immigration. Average age in US is going up very quickly and we are becoming a geriatric country. We are going to have to hire mercenaries to fight out wars as the average age rises and the population pyramid looks like a block instead of a nice healthy shape. People hanging onto life into the 100's consuming hundreds of Medicaid dollars a day on services lobbied heavily for by the most powerful industries on Earth and you say "yeah we should abandon..." like we have a fucking choice in the matter.
