I think traditionally protests have been used with good reason and even at times today they are, however, there are a lot of protests and people that don't even understand the system or even why they're protesting in the first place. People protest with misinformed information and without ever even doing their own research or critical thinking.
Take for example, when people protest free speech because they disagree with it/a speaker or message being presented.
To those people, you people do realize, that our free speech laws are the ones that allow you to be out here protesting to begin with, right?
People don't understand the slippery slope of censorship being forced by your government.
