Warriors spend time with the President

Not only time well spent but also the nutritionally responsible choice. Don't need these guys getting sluggish on the court from the dollar menu

first, damn, Obama has gotten old.
second, damn, does he look tiny in this pic. he's actually a tall guy, but seeing him next to an NBA team really puts things into perspective.

ive always laughed at the "look at what the job does to you" pictures that presidents have posted, because there's a bit of confirmation bias baked into the cake. All presidents have been men in the age range where 4-8 years they are naturally greying and visibly aging. so it's not anywhere near all the job. but that job really does take a shit load out of you, then the continued protocols you have to follow even after leaving office. it's a lifetime responsibility for sure.

which makes me wonder how Trump will deal with secret service when he's done, he surely wont like that type of presence on him permanently.

hmmm.... tbh, I dont see him returning to his role as chairman of the Trump Organization. if he gets reelected in 2020, he'll be 78 by the time he leaves office, and even if his heart hasnt exploded yet from all the fast food and coke by then, he'll have little (life) energy left anyway.
if he loses his reelection bid in 2020, or gets impeached, he'll leave the public as a disgraced, failed figure and will either stick to his golf courses, or keep on holding rallies for his core supporters as some sort of toxic political relic of the past.

btw: a good counterexample imho is George W. Bush - he didnt age too much during his years in office, and only aged visibly a couple of years later. welp, I guess if it's actually Karl and Dick who carry the burden of making the decisions, you can leave the office unscathed.

nah, opinion sections are fine. the real issue arent the opinion sections, it's that half the 'report', 'feature' and 'analysis' articles have become opinion pieces as well.

could be, but IMO it would be closer to that HBO show "Succession" where a presumably on his way out father sticks around in the business for a long time and can't let go of control. i bet that Donald is an annoyance to his children and the Trump Org until the day he dies. whether it's physically being there or his twitter posts causing them PR issues.

they could even turn this into a running gag, where his children constantly try to take his cellphone away from him but he finds a way to get to twitter...
