Here's what I don't understand about that video. He's clearly been preparing to attend this protest to interview people. He's got his lines prepared in advance. They had a few days notice, right?
So how come he's just saying "I have proof of this thing on video" without showing it to the people he's interviewing. At a minimum, he could have had it ready to go on an iphone
but better yet, he could have brought along something more professional like a projector setup and screen to put it on as a functional prop.

he could reasonably predict that if he went around to a dozen people at the protest and asked 'what do you think about the phillip's buddy saying 'go back to europe' to the kids?' that at least some of them would deny it. Most likely all of them because if they weren't in denial mode already, they wouldn't be out in public making such fools of themselves. But instead he just went there and feebly asked these questions and then recorded them denying it and that's the end of the video. So what.
This guy is terrible at his one job. I could have done more with a cell phone and a cheap laptop

that video would have been so much better if these people were physically confronted with the evidence they're in denial about. This is the perfect opportunity to stage one of those conservative gotcha videos like "Heres obama quotes we attributed to trump!". Except this one would have actually been topical and gone viral instantly. I could have probably made thousands of infowars bucks or wherever the money is coming from

I agree with you fyi, those interviews accomplished nothing, I think most people aren't aware of this footage.
So the people are likely just like "The hell is he talking about?"

But I used that video because it linked us directly to the video footage @ 1:00.
I don't think that part has been brought up yet here.

Those in the media that were reporting solely for narrative and without fact at the beginning were irresponsible but those in the media that continued down the same path to avoid having to hold themselves accountable after more came out including leading and manipulative questions for both the boy and Phillips are worse than irresponsible. That's just intentional fake news/lies when we know more of the truth (the same shit the President does) which is fueling all the hateful shit between both sides with doxxing and trying to ruin everyone involved

There should be firings, not low level grinders but actual people of power within the media. "Sometimes we get it wrong sometimes we get it right blah blah" doesn't cut it. People that continue to approach it and cover it from a false narrative within positions of power to control the content should be fired.

Phillips should only be interviewed with tough but fair questions about the incident and only the incident. No "do you forgive the kids yadayada" angles. This is what we see, this is what you said, explain why they don't match up and are you willing to admit that you were wrong and do you want to apologize for allowing a non incident to become a national story that risked the safety and education of children.
