And even though it might be whataboutism, it is worth pointing out that Obama hadnt actually done anything tangible yet when he received the nobel peace prize.
Trump's plans for the Syria withdrawal are too hasty, and there are certainly valid arguments to be made against this decision. But all of that doesnt change the fact that he is eating an absurd amount of criticism for plans of ending a war, and it also doesnt change the fact this hyperbolical criticism stands in stark contrast to the praise Obama got for his very similar troop reduction in Iraq.
At the end of the day, the way the beltway media is treating Trump's Syria withdrawal plans is yet another exhibit, and a hardly refutable one at that, for their bias against Trump and in favor of the establishment. Not that any of this is surprising - the swamp media is in line with the swampy foreign policy establishment... - but it should still be pointed out.
How is the Obama thing relevant to anything in this discussion? That was weird. The left hated Obama for that.
