TDS + shutdown gridlock syndrome = lots of foolish looking reactionaries.

this shutdown has people clambering for a story so badly they'll turn a kid from a random march into a celebrity over night.

even worse they're now calling the GOP hypocrites because they didn't want a kid criticized but criticized David Hogg and company. Despite the fact that this kid silently stood in the face of an agitator and was then the victim of a doxxing, compared to kids that willingly went on every news network and did speeches before congress in their own name. including large scale political twitter campaigns.

the irony of lefties going on "he looked like he was asking for it" (based on his clothes) really has to make one laugh. If a girl wears a short skirt we can't imply she wants people looking at her legs, but if a kid wears a red hat he's open to the same criticism as those who go before congress and perform on news networks. :rofl:

what a blunder..... these people think that 10 years of semi exposure to the public wont turn up something that makes them look like idiots, it always astounds me. when i think of going on public TV and making a stand 20 years of vivid memories of non-problematic encounters and events that could be taken out of context instantly flood to the forefront of my mind and i realize i can never run for office. all of the bumps of coke at a college party, all of the awkward text exchanges with chicks in college, inexcusably racist jokes on forums for years, etc. No fucking thx. It takes bravery and stupidity to take a stand with a sorted past.

also, lol at Harris' logo, it's really a disaster. she might very well be the most easy opponent for trump - an angry black women from a privileged background in san francisco who's leaning heavily into leftist identity politics stuff, is pretty centrist/neoliberal on economic issues and particularly soft on immigration. from how she positioned herself durng the last two years, it feels like she would try to run as Hillary 2.0 on the same platform as Hillary did. yikes.
