The top 10 rivers in terms of plastic delivery are from this table. Unsurprisingly it's mostly from Asia, with virtually all of it coming from China and India.

Our Oceans pollution is an issue that gets almost no attention in comparison to climate change. Personally, I think it should get a lot more attention since it's something we can actually change with enough effort.

Climate change also threatens the whole ocean ecosystem via ocean acidification. Still, the time to do something was 40 years ago when we knew it was happening and what was causing it. If we had solar, wind, and nuclear would be decades ahead of where they are now.

Ocean plastic will be easier to solve though. Its easier to remove than co2

i've watched a few outlets cover this now, pretty much everyone is getting a good laugh out of it
