and the budget of a household is the same as the budget of the govt. there isn't in truth 5 trillion at play to disperse. we have contracts, payments on debt, entitlements, etc that are all essentially static costs. could they be reformed? yes. will they? no. Could you get rid of your cellphone? yes. Will you? no.

I'd love to see the contractor who would only charge me $57 to fence my yard. I'd get that done in a heartbeat, if that were the case (which it's not, which makes that meme laughable at best, because the scale and percentage of budgets required aren't even in the same fucking sport).
