People defensively ended up on the narrative that media needs to be unbiased, and that all biased media is inherently not worth looking at for any reason. not something they stick to for sourcing their own claims of course, just an excuse to deny other people. What's funny to me is this was a common practice for leftists with conspiracy nutter rags like Breitbart, and the right is now doing the exact same thing to MSNBC and co. Even though the MSM (while biased) is far more reputable than a rag like Breitbart.
