red carpet is sponsored by FIJI, usually this means there is a backdrop that has the sponsors name all over it. FIJI prefers to have a model handing out bottles, knowing that with 180 degrees of photographers she'll end up in a lot of photos.

JLC, who wasn't forced to come to the event, nor forced to participate in the red carpet (some celebs decline, to one or both) complains that instead of having a FIJI banner behind her in 100% of the photos there is a model in maybe 25% or less of the photos.
