in any case, i find it quite entertaining. i believe if the american people were told point blank: "joe biden was paid 10 million dollars by a Ukrainian company via his son that is a crackhead that they only hired to get influence with him, and that son then lost the job by being a crack head and left his laptop and never picked it up full of proof of this and videos of him grooming his niece for sex" that Joe still would have won. People who voted for biden hated trump that much. and many of them think the trump family is guilty of the same or worse.

the point i made when this story broke, that spurred this entire conversation, was my surprise that facebook was less compliant with the FBI's phone calls than Twitter. as i'd previously assumed both were reacting to the phone calls in the same way. much like how Tate received simultaneous banning on all platforms. when in reality it sounds like facebook is less compliant with the FBI than twitter.

somehow this led to a slew of conversations where people told me the FBI pressured social platforms to censor (as if i'd said otherwise), that i believe whatever facebook tells me to believe (as if i'd said anything to indicate that), and that i'm pro FBI and think they acted correctly (even though i said repeatedly i deplore the FBI, CIA, and the other 3 letter organizations).

apparently nuanced conversation is beyond most pardians. i can call the FBI actions bad, note that they had a pro-Biden bias to their actions, note that their actions were imo ineffectual, and lastly be surprised at the reality that twitter and facebook have a varied response to FBI warning calls. most people are stuck on "FBI bad" vs "hunter info was false and still is". i just recognize we live in a world where once mighty institutions like the FBI can't make the change they want to and that social media platforms have a user base that's largely out of their own control at times.
