yup. i love too how the parties act like the POTUS has zero control over the fed when it suits them. which in an absolutist sense is true, but he has clear influence. when it was obama GOPers wanted him to reign them in, when it was Trump they acted like Trump was powerless and also against the Fed policy. meanwhile they chug down low interest auto loans and pretend its all a great ride to the top. next correction is gonna be fucking rough all the way around. we've significantly surpassed the 2008 housing crisis levels in all housing categories that signal a crash and no one seems to think the crash is coming. income/mortgage ratio, credit-score/mortgage ratio, etc. it's all fucked and we're severely overleveraged. thank god i got my house in the down market before the boom, got a good price under lenient fed policy but with a low valuation, and im fixed not adjustable.
