I got the vaccine because the benefits outweigh the risks by easily a factor of 100:1, and it also likely reduces your likelyhood to spread the disease to others.

This is why I'm in favor of making the lives of the non-vaccinated difficult.

It works with some because but it also creates much more hostility with many others.

It's really not the best approach to do something because it's authoritarian in nature and creates natural friction for people to just do it. It's a shitty approach from a psychological perspective. That's why you have so much digging in and why this has turned into a massive global issue and in some of the more libertine societies there is a massive push back. That's why a place like France, known for libertine culture, you're seeing massive protests and marches against forced vaccinations. That's why in the inner cities, where black communities are distrustful of authorities are choosing to not get vaccinated.

Children sometimes throw tantrums when parents make them eat their vegetables, but the solution is not to give in to their demands.
