CDC says 12-60k deaths per year from flu in the US, covid death toll is nearly 500,000 in the us :/

Not to mention flu cases this year are nearly nonexistent because masks and social distancing work, plus all you heathens finally wash your damn hands like you learned in kindergarten.

I used a low-end estimate for global flu deaths.

The flu is clearly less dangerous than covid, but I am asking you to provide me with a barometer by which to measure what is "acceptable" versus "unacceptable" levels of death. Were Americans wrong, in the past, to accept tens of thousands of annual deaths? Or is that ok, and the cut-off is somewhere higher than that. If yes, how do we know what that number is?

"Where is the exact location of the line" is where you go when you have nothing.

We shut down schools when flu infections are too high. Clearly the line is somewhere between the 60k deaths from unchecked influenza spread and the 4-6 million that would result from unchecked Covid spread.

I didn't see you complaining all through Trump's presidency about the lack of wall he promised his entire campaign.

Ghot in 2016: I'm just supporting the country. I'll never criticize a sitting president because that would be unpatriotic

Ghot in 2021: NOT MY PRESIDENT REEEEEEEEE WHERE'S MY STIMULUS!

1. He WAS building the wall.
2. The Dems were fighting it every step of the way.
3. The Dems were suing Trump for everything remotely related to immigration, from day one.

Trump... at the END of his term, managed to get the $600 check out... very fast.
Biden with the House and Senate hasn't seemed to manage it...in a month.

No one is suing Biden. He has his "reconciliation". All WE are getting from the Dems is lip service. :/

Nancy has already said it's expected to be approved by the end of February. You're not getting lip service, it's not the end of February plus the actual payment itself lands you mid March.

You of all people a retired social security user who would have felt no negative impacts from covid shouldn't even be receiving it let alone spending your days whining about it.

Atleast in Canada you has to be employed in the prior year or before March 2020 with evidence you lost your job or took a significant reduction in income as a direct result of covid.

You on the other hand just love your gov't hand outs and love complaining about avavado toast people who get everything handed to them.
