I agree. Ultimately, COVID is being used as a good ole scare tactic. Notice flu season is almost nowhere in the news. Gee, I wonder why? Because COVID is just a super flu itself.

I dont disagree that the Trump tax cuts were bad policy and disproportionately favored the rich. Even back then, in 2017, I was criticizing this bill for this exact reason. It must nonetheless be noted that this bill was written mostly by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. Trump didnt exactly fight against it, but still, it was not a "trumpy" bill at all.

My point still stands: you claimed that Trump was some sort of reverse Robin Hood, stealing from the poor to give to his rich buddies. My point is that you're painting a highly polemical and incomplete picture of his track record, and that the "little man" actually benefitted a ton from the record low unemployment which Trump achieved with his pro-business, pro-jobs and anti-regulation policies. Labor market statistics and the American people themselves agree with this take.

Except Trumps employment numbers follow exactly with the job increases from Obamas last term, and his reverse robinhood has been on full display in many other cases like firing every IG that was allowed to oversee dispensing of stimulus loans and thereby ensuring there would be nobody to stop them from going to large companies.

So theres really no basis to argue that Trump has been a boon to the little guy and we have multiple examples of him directly funneling money to the top
