Anecdotal, but my friends were detained at LAX for 8 hours today. They are Persian Jews who have never been to Iran (though the parents were immigrants from Iran). 3 of their Persian friends were also detained for several hours at various airports (San Francisco, NY, and Seattle). Maybe there's no directive but that's certainly a strange coincidence, don't you think?
