If I take your words for it, there are so many things wrong with everything becoming clean.
If you read the last part of 16, it mentions unwashed hands.
And if i read further, it mentions the thing in the belly as specifically meat (red letter KJV).

But either way you cannot compare food with thoughts, and I don't think that is whats happening in the verses. The verses are not meant to discuss food, because there obviously things that are unclean you can eat.

...Jesus did in that very circumstance which so far is obvious to everyone but you . On one side of the argument we have Christians , atheists , agnostics and a buddhist all united in the opinion that that Scripture is perfectly clear and on the other side we have you , backpedaling and obfuscating and standing alone . Why are you denying the recorded words of one of your own prophets ?

And you would be incorrect.

I don't think god exists because if he did, all crabs would be delicious lobsters. Seriously the only way crabs exist is because of survival of the fittest.

Either that or crabs used to be lobsters and are a fallen creation tossed out of Eden.

Crabs are just as delicious as lobsters. Probably 2 of the best foods ever.

When there is contradiction with the Bible and Quran, I cannot believe in the Bible's version. If an endless line of prophets prohibit pork and suddenly one comes to say "nevermind, God has allowed it now, infact you can have everything", I have to question it. There is no reason to suddenly allow food, unless pork evolved to be clean suddenly. The pork is not banned for the Jews because of a random restriction, it is because of its ability to spread disease and its poor digestive system as well as other things.

Haven't taken back my words either. Its not just you, and its not your fault. Christianity is a religion of traditional beliefs passed down by word. The text of the Bible has little to do with what Christians believe.

Yes, the source text for Christian teaching has nothing to do with Christian teaching.
