I'll take the business man over an emotional pat on the back.

I still haven't read the responses but please don't tell me we're going to do a line-by-line analysis.

I took the response from both, and quoted their first response to the question.

Harris danced around the question and used emotions.
Trump answered the question head on and used policy.

please don't tell me you haven't read.

Audience question: "How are you going to bring down the cost of food and groceries?"

Trump has made his stance on energy policy loud and clear.
So he opened his response with a direct correlation of energy to food prices.

Anyone who knows the economy knows that food/drink prices are often a reflection of the economy.
The cost to ship goods and products, The cost to manufacture goods and products. Are all directly tied to energy.

I still don't see how Trump's response used policy.

"The rest of the world" = histrionic, impotent European bureaucrats who can't even defend the whole of Western Europe from Russia without daddy USA

If you really wanted to deter Russia you would invest heavily in industry & arms, but you don't, you continue leeching off the US teet

What part if western europe is Russia threatening?
They couldn't even take the furthest eastern part if Europe from the poorest European country.

I still have no idea what policies harris has, she seems to ramble in word salad fragments.

On the flip side, Trump has made his policies loud and clear.
Much of Trumps policies is based on common sense.

Appellate judges skeptical of New York civil fraud case against Trump

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-ask-new-york-appeals-court-toss-nearly-500-mln-civil-fraud-judgment-2024-09-26/

Members of the five-judge panel on the Appellate Division - the mid-level state appellate court hearing arguments in Trump's appeal - appeared concerned about possible overreach by James.
Two of the judges interrupted Judith Vale, the lawyer arguing for New York, during her opening statement to ask if there were any other examples of the state suing over private business transactions between sophisticated parties under a law aimed at protecting market integrity.

"Every case that you cite involves damage to consumers, damage to the marketplace," Justice David Friedman told Vale.
"We don't have anything like that here," Friedman added, saying that nobody "lost any money."
The judges also wondered about what constraints applied to the law James cited in bringing the case - one that is typically used to go after fraudsters who target vulnerable consumers.
"How do we draw a line or at least put up guardrails? Justice Peter Moulton asked.
