Its an example of walls working and having obvious merit.
There is no requirement for every detail to be the same for it to be accurate or funny.
'mistreatment and abuse' and extended sentences aren't why the walls work. they work against people with life sentences too. They are physical barriers that restrict and impede movement and dissuade many attempts to get by them.
Armed guards are another aspect of border security and general security, not something that makes the comparative observation/joke invalid.
If you want to oppose the wall, go for it. Come up with a real argument.
Democrats pretending walls dont work, or calling accurate and amusing jokes 'nonsense' and foolish doesn't cut it.
It's easy to oppose a wall that is being pushed by a guy that ran on the great wall of trump that would be paid for by Mexico
The great wall of trump in the terrain we are talking doesn't make sense for the price in a lot of the area. I support security and resources for technology and don't find a wall by itself immoral at all but foolish conservatives that compare it to prisons actually make it into a moral arguement by going that route
Trump wanted the wall as a giant brand item dick in the dirt and he said we weren't going to pay for it.
This is all about a campaign promise and some conservatives turning on him for not fulfilling it while they had full power for 2 years. In some areas a fancy barrier makes sense but that's not the campaign promise and people's paychecks shouldn't be held hostage by a manbaby president to fulfill a tiny piece of what his actual campaign promise was.
This is not a crisis or a national emergency it's an issue a slow burning long occurring issue that's all it is
