let me put that in terms a trumpass can understand: if during a flood you have a limited amount of sandbags at a time, you put them where they can prevent the most damage, where they are most needed first. you don't say 'well, protecting that children's hospital would just mean we could not protect that gun shop on the other side of town, so withholding them is fine, doesn't make a difference'. that's preposterous.

the whole point is getting the supplies where they are most needed. so describing trump's approach as 'childish and petty' is a pretty big understatement - he is willing to let american citizens needlessly die because of his fragile ego - but i guess that is ok with you, because their governor was really mean to your cult leader, for not licking his boots properly, right?

literally every single post of yours is: "ok, he might be a little petty, but it's actually not a big deal really", when in reality he has proven yet again to be entirely incompetent and ineffective as a leader of a nation.

are you being serious right now? hospitals and states update that information on a near hourly basis, even the pubic can follow it on several tracker websites, it's one of the main reason for testing, reporting, and coordinating aid, lol. another trumpass practicing reality denial in order to downplay their emperor's disregard for american lives...

Orange man has an average amount of badness. You try to twist that into "defending" or "justifying" the amount of badness that he has. Your only goal is to push that narrative as far as possible. You couldn't care less about underlying facts of pandemic.



You don't care whether or not the resources are being allocated incorrectly. You just wait and see however he allocates them, scour the stories for anything that reveals his badness, and then scream 'that way was imperfect!'

"Where the supplies are needed" is NOT very straight forward.

You have to have the facilities, the licensed medical professionals, etc., to even USE the supplies. Then and only then can you use simplistic data like infections and deaths to choose between various locations.
Then, on top of all that, you have to be concerned with hoarding, panic ordering, etc. A governor or hospital for example, can panic buy, just like anyone else.

Things like ventilators are NOT comparable to sand bags in your earlier analogy.



/e Just because Trump may have slammed a governor or two on twitter, doesn't mean that they would "really" be deprived of things that were honestly needed.
