also, there WAS a spending measure that did NOT include money for a wall, and trump initially supported it - only after some ultra conservative talk radio and tv hosts attacked him, and claimed it made him look weak, he rejected it. this shutdown is a result of the most powerful man in the western hemisphere making policy based on what rush limbaugh and ann coulter say - not a fight over two opposing ideologies when it comes to the legitimacy of borders, what a ridiculous spin...
