oh yeah i had that in college. a dark skinned woman argued with me in sociology that wen't something like this:

"yeah i grew up dirt poor" - me

"yeah but they never shut yalls water off i bet" - her

"yeah happened a lot, my mom couldnt ever make ends meet" - me

"we didnt even get presents for holidays" - her

"i had multiple holidays and birthdays where i was lucky to get to choose the dinner we ate, no presents, etc" - me

shocker shocker, the topic of discussion was white privilege. white people can't be dirt poor i guess.
