but not suprising to be honest, there is a clear tendency that our army and in several german states the police are increasingly becoming a collecting basin for the remains of our society
they have so much trouble attracting young people to join, that they are pretty much taking everyone they can get their hands on

thats the result of decades of leftist policy, which has caused massive underfunding with insufficient personnel as well as a widening distance between army/police and society
many media outlets also are partly to blame for this with their constant anti military agitation and propaganda

these institutions are supposed to represent the average citizen and all parts of society, however only idealists among the good and decent people are willing to take these jobs anymore (huge respect for that btw)
the rest has better things to do nowadays than putting their ass on the line for a pathetic state that is sabotaging their daily work and the parts of society that cant even appreciate them

meanwhile in berlin the police acadamy has to replace english lessons with german, because the recruits dont even speak proper german anymore (https://www.welt.de/politik/deutschland/article184483388/Berlin-Polizeischueler-muessen-nun-erst-mal-Deutsch-lernen.html)
radical right wingers on one end, migrants that dont even speak our language on the other
