Hard to take some criticism of Trump seriously when it's literally 24/7 for every little minutia under the sun, ripe with double standards and hypocrisies. I'm still dumbfounded by how much attention Trump gets for even the most trivial and unimportant things. Not any, just really dumb criticism like crying about every single tweet he puts out. If you want to be critical, be critical of his policy or actual consequential things he says, not irrelevant things like this. There's too much white noise being highlighted every day by people like you that distorts the importance of actual important things in this world.
Presidents get scrutinized more than any other person in the world... this is not anything new. Just because we have a guy who screws up far more than any other modern president doesn't mean we should lower our expectations.
BTW, you whine like a little girl any time Trump gets criticized, whether it's for a tweet or policy. Don't bullshit me.

tldr
If after the Charleston church shooting, Obama tweeted a message criticizing the South Carolina government and threatened to withdraw federal funds if they didn't pass gun control, I would rightly call him out as an insensitive prick. Conservatives routinely criticize politicians coming right out after a massacre and playing politics.
As far as effectiveness, Trump did the same thing last time and clearly it didn't work. Somehow I feel that Californians aren't going to get angry at local officials because of that tweet.
There's no double standards on my side... I'm not part of a cult of personality, or invested in any particular party.
